crEUw in September

Where these beach flags stand, crEUw-dogs are in the sky!

For September 2024 there will be a Invitational crEUw training. A concept we will try out for the first time, with the expectation of continuing it annually.

The pre-announcement in the crEUw app group gatherd alot of positive reactions. We are very happy with this. The enormous interest shows that these types of camps are appreciated. Unfortunately, we could not invite everyone, but we hope to be able to serve a larger group next year. When inviting,  we like to include new talents. In that spirit, Alex Rebel is training with us.

Further, we have put the option of possibly flying a crEUw record on hold. Next year it will be 10 years since we started as a crEUw team. So in ’25 we will have a good reason to make a crEUw record attempt.

We pursue three goals with the September Training

  • Setting a standard that we want to repeat annually, encouraging top crEUw talent,
  • Raise the level of the whole crEUw team,
  • Give crEUw members who have been selected for the world record attemps in November extra training opportunities.

The Training

So we will be with 21 crEUw members who will have to divide the 18 available slots over the 16 jumps that we hope to make. Gerben Frankvoort will be joining us as a pilot and Peter Wohler will do the camera work.
The formation will be a 16-way with a extra row 5 of 3 members, making it a 19-way plus outside camera.

Repeat, repeat and repeat!
The training will have no room to learn new techniques. The focus will be to fine tune those, good-timed sideways docks by following the technical insight for the world record. Key words are; fast and healthy flying formation and front riser approach. So yes, it is just a team training.

crEUw skies,
Pasi and Henk
