CF Winter Camp in Portugal

This will be CF skills winter-camp for everyone. Jan. 30th – Feb. 4th 2017. We will jump different formations and everyone will have efficient space in the formations. An aircraft Dornier G92 (15 jumpers, 4300m, 13min) is waiting for us. This will be a good place to start the CF season 2017 and get ready for big formations!

The dropzone is open full-time 365 days a year with a turbine aircraft flying to 14,000ft (4300m) every lift.
Located in the picturesque town of Alvor, Skydive Algarve is only 45 mins from Faro airport. We have great facilities including an efficient manifest, cafe and bar, large packing area and some of the best sea views in Europe.

Accommodation and Car Hire
We can book accommodation for you – we have several excellent choices of self-catering apartment and hotels in Alvor – please see attached for more information on accommodation. Just let us know which option, how many nights and the type of room & bed required and we can do the rest.

We can also arrange a hire car for you at 16,42€ per day (115€ per week) all inclusive of the insurance and with a fair fuel policy so you return the car with the same amount as it had when you collected it. Please click here for full details on car hire.

Please note all tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable, but they do not expire and can be used at other events at Skydive Algarve.

Insurance
All jumpers are required to have proof of 3rd party public liability insurance for skydiving in Portugal. This may be provided by your own parachute federation, but some countries do not cover it. Please ensure you have sufficient insurance along with written proof otherwise you may not be able to jump as we are not able to issue insurance on the DZ.
We also recommend taking out personal accident insurance as reciprocal european healthcare does not extend past emergency care and does not cover repatriation.

DZ rules
AAD is mandatory at Skydive Algarve > AAD IS NOT MANDATORY IN CF JUMPS < and you may only use a camera with a minimum of 200 jumps in your logbook. All jumpers will receive a documents & equipment check on arrival along with a DZ brief. Please also note that on arrival you will need to show photo ID to gain access to the aerodrome on your first day.
External AFF instructors wishing to bring their own students should contact us in advance for terms and prices.

We do ask all jumpers to register their trip with us, and we would appreciate some details in order for us to give you the best possible service when you arrive. Please could you send us the following information for each person attending.
